Disposition rate for preventive mediation decreased in 2008 and registered the lowest figure for the period 2004 - 2008.

10% increase in certification rate, number of ratings/ maritime officers certificate issued

Growth rates of certificates issued for maritime officers showed an increasing trend for the 2005 - 2007 period, but decreased to 7.1 percent in 2007 to 2008. The target of 10 percent was surpassed in 2006-2007 period.
