The National Education Expenditure Accounts (NEXA) is a framework for the compilation of information on the country's education sector financing. The NEXA is an important ingredient in addressing major policy issues on education as it provides a tool for analyzing expenditures on education. The NEXA estimates form part of the much larger set of education statistics and indicators regularly produced by government agencies and may therefore be used in combination with such data for policy analysis.
