NSCB and Office of the UN Resident Coordinator Conduct Consultative
Meeting on the MDG Indicators

The National Statistical Coordination Board in coordination with the Office of the UN Resident Coordinator will be conducting a Consultative Meeting on the Millennium Development Goals (MDG) Indicators to be held on June 18, 2004, 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Tiara Oriental Hotel 7248 Malugay St. corner Talisay St. San Antonio Village, Makati City

During the Meeting the following concerns will be discussed:

formulation of immediate measures to address data gaps based on the current set of statistics;
development of an action plan to resolve other issues such as inclusion/addition of more appropriate indicators; setting of more realistic periodicity of updating, among others, and
implementation and monitoring of these statistical development programs.

Invited to attend the Meeting are the official sources of statistics/ indicators/data series for the measurement/monitoring of the MDGs and selected oversight agencies and local government units and non-government organizations.
