1. The quarterly estimates starting first quarter of 2004 are not linked with 2003. The comparable quarterly series starts from first quarter 2004 onwards, the estimates for which make use of either updated data from existing data sources or data from new data sources. For example, in the case of manufacturing, the estimates now make use of data not only from the Monhtly Integrated Survey of Selected Industries (MISSI) but also from the Quarterely Survey of Philippine Business and Industry (QSPBI). For private services and non-factor exports sectors, updated data from the Business Processing Association Philippines (BPA/P), Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP), Commission on Information and Communication Technology (CICT) and Board of Investments (BOI) are considered.

2. Net factor income from the rest of the world now includes interest payments on public debt in its outflow
