Sadanga garners the highest voter turnout in Mt. Province

In the last election, the Municipality of Sadanga garnered the highest voter turnout among all 9 municipalities of Mt. Province with a percentage of voter turnout of 87.1 while the Municipality of Bauko had the lowest rate of voter turnout at 71.2 percent. However, Bauko had the highest number of registered voters at 18,469 or 21.4 percent of the entire province. Likewise, it reported the highest number of voter turnout at 13,143 or 20.0 percent of the total actual voters province-wide. Barlig reported the least number of registered voters and voter turnout across municipalities at 4,014 and 3,118, respectively.

The last local election was held on May 14, 2007. It involved the election of congressmen, governors, board members, mayors and councilors.
