The magnitude of poor population in Kalinga Province declined by 31.0% or from 72,726 in 2006 to 50,198 in 2009. The number of poor individuals in the Cordilleras posted an overall increase of 2.3% or 7,923 additional poor individuals from 2006 to 2009.
