Did you know that...

...gold metal reserves in the Cordilleras declined between 1998 and 2005?

Data from the Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB), reveal that estimated gold metal reserves in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) declined by a quarter between 1998 and 2005. The stock of gold metal declined from about 162.4 MT in 1998 to 122.1 MT in 2005. About 31.5 MT of gold metal was extracted during the period.
