Inventory of Statistics Available in Government (ISAG)
The ISAG is a compilation of various information on what statistical data are available in the government and the levels of disaggregation and frequency of data, the agency generating the data as well as the contact person in the source agency. The ISAG will serve as a useful guide to data users in sourcing their required statistical data. The inventory prepared by the regional division presents the generated data that have at least regional disaggregation. Furthermore, the inventory classifies statistics available in government into several sectors, namely: population and housing; economic accounts; income and prices; economic accounts; environment and natural resources; agriculture and agrarian reform; industry; trade; tourism; vital, health and nutrition; education; labor and employment; social services; transportation and communication; energy and water resources; public administration; and public order, safety and justice. These sectors are also the specific chapters of the banner publication of the regional division, the Regional Social and Economic Trends (RSET). The tables of the ISAG indicate (1) the agency producing the data or data source; (2) the statistical series/statistics being produced; (3) level of disaggregation; (4) frequency of the series; (5) time lag/date of availability; (6) mode of dissemination; and (7) unit within the source agency to be contacted.
