The consolidated 2012 Agency Release Calendar (ARC) for CAR can now be accessed online. The ARC is the schedule of releases of statistical outputs by a government agency. In particular, it is a matrix of what statistical output/data to be released; period covered by the data; geographic disaggregation; schedule of dissemination or when the data is available; form of output (whether available in hard or electronic copy or accessible thru the web/internet); and the contact persons and contact numbers. NSCB releases MDG Watch of CAR Provinces
and Baguio City

NSCB-CAR announces the release of individual MDG Watch for each province in the Cordillera Administrative Region, including Baguio City. The MDG Watch is an info sheet prepared by the NSCB showing the progress of the nation, region, province or municipality based on Millennium Development Goals (MDG) indicators. The info sheet presents the MDG indicators that are available, the baseline line data, target rates per goal for each indicator, the latest available data and the probability of achieving each target or goal. CAR inflation rises in October 2011
The year-on-year inflation rate for all items in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) rose from 2.9 percent in September 2011 to 3.6 percent in October 2011. The increase was primarily due to the general rise in the prices of items under Food and Non-Alcoholic Beverages by 1.6 percentage points. (Read more)

Inventory of Available Statistics in Government (ISAG) now available
The ISAG is a compilation of various information on what statistical data are available in the government and the levels of disaggregation and frequency of data, the agency generating the data as well as the contact person in the source agency. The ISAG will serve as a useful guide to data users in sourcing their required statistical data. (Go to page)

The Municipality of Kabugao in Apayao is the eight (8th) municipality to be featured in the NSCB-CAR web site.  Kabugao is the capital of the province of Apayao where we can find dense forests with some remaining virgin stands and teeming with wildlife.

The Countryside in Figures, 2011: Province of Apayao

The NSCB RDCAR has already prepared similar publications for the provinces of Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga and Mt. Province. This maiden edition for Apayao Province provides provincial data and municipal disaggregation of statistics, whenever available on various sectors, such as governance, income and expenditures, labor and employment, agriculture, education, health, fiscal administration and public order and safety.
