CRIME RATE - number of crimes committed per 100,000 population. INDEX CRIMES - crimes which are sufficiently significant and which occur with sufficient regularity to be meaningful. Crimes which include the following: murder, physical injury, robbery, theft and rape. NON-INDEX CRIMES - all types of crimes not considered as index crimes. Source: Philippine National Police |
