The region’s year-on-year inflation decreased to 6.1 percent in September 2011 from 6.6 percent in August 2011.  It resulted from the decrease in recreation and culture; alcoholic beverages and tobacco; food and non-alcoholic beverages; and restaurants and miscellaneous goods and services.  However, the indices of  housing,water,electricity,gas and other fuels; transport; and communication slowed down while education remained stable.
