The National Statistics Office (NSO) revealed that the total number of building construction projects in Zamboanga Peninsula was recorded at 327 units or valued at Php234,695,000 in the third quarter of 2010. Residential type of buildings registered the most number of constructions recorded at 267 units or valued at Php66,834,000 which  were all of single type residential building.

On the other hand, non residential type of building constructions was recorded at 41 units or valued at Php161,067,000, of which 26 units were commercial type of buildings; 4 were industrial type; 9 were institutional type; and 2 were other types.

Among the provinces, Zamboanga del Norte was noted to have the most number of building constructions which was recorded at 272 units, followed by Zamboanga del Sur and Isabela City at 53 and 2 units, respectively.
