The Zamboanga Peninsula inflation rate in November 2010 decelerated to 2.3 percent from  3.3 percent in October 2010. This was due to the significant decrease in the inflation rate of Food, Beverage and Tobacco by 1.6 percentage point,  Fuel, Light and Water by 1.4 percentage point, Clothing by 0.4 percentage point, and  Miscellaneous by 0.3 percentage point.  Services slightly increased by 0.1 percentage point. Housing and Repairs item remained at 0.5 percent. November consumer price index was recorded at 169.3.
