In line with its thrust of continuously providing the public with comprehensive socio-economic data with local level disaggregation, the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB), Regional Division (RD) IX, releases the 2008 edition of the Countryside in Figures (CIF), Zamboanga del Sur.

The publication contains relevant statistics/indicators for local planners, investors, and other groups interested in Zamboanga del Sur as a venue for investment and development.

This issue contains statistical indicators on the following sectors: population, agriculture, tourism, health and nutrition, education, labor, transportation and communication, public finance, public order and safety.
