Steering Committees and Sub-Committees for the 5th MSC

An inter-agency Steering Committee has been created to provide overall direction and guidance in the preparations for the 5th MSC. Various inter-agency Sub-Committees have also been created to perform specific tasks, as follows: (a) Sub-Committee on Scientific Program to determine the sessions to be organized, prepare scientific program, and design a systematic procedure of conducting the sessions; (b) Sub-Committee on Finance and Arrangements to raise funds for the event, handle arrangements for the venue, food and registration of participants, and provide general services for the congress; and (C) Sub-Committee on Publicity and Advocacy to recommend publicity activities for the MSC.

A group of session organizers from the government, private sector and the academe has been formed to identify prospective paper writers, review the abstracts, identify discussants and moderators for the sessions.
