The biggest fleet belongs to the Superstar transportation line which has 12 mini-buses plying the Dapitan-Dipolog route and vice-versa. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes.
For commuting within the poblacion (city center), 50 motorcab operators answer the need with 60 motorcabs. There are also trisikads (bicycle-based three-wheelers) within the urban core.

SEA TRANSPORT

There are two shipping lines which can call regularly at Pulawan Wharf, roughly nine kilometers from the poblacion.

George and Peter Lines - Boats arrive and leave for Dumaguete and Cebu Cities every day of the week. A boat leaves for Zamboanga City every Tuesday noon and arrives on its turnabout trip Thursday noon.

Sulpicio Lines - has one boat, the MV Dipolog Princess, which originates from Manila and calls at Pulawan Wharf via Dumaguete City. This usually arrives Friday afternoon and leaves for Manila every Monday morning.

AIR TRANSPORT

There is no airport in Dapitan City. However, passengers from the city take their flight from Dipolog City Airport, 12 kilometers away.
