RSCC VIII Creates TWG on Housing Statistics  

The Regional Statistical Coordination Committee (RSCC) of Region VIII will be creating a Technical Working Group (TWG) on Housing Statistics to formulate a methodology to estimate housing supply and demand in the region.  Funding assistance to TWG activities will be provided by the Regional Development Council.

An Organizational Meeting will be conducted on March 27, 2008 at NEDA Regional Office.  The agenda include an orientation on TWG functions, confirmation of membership, action planning, and review of existing methodology in the computation of housing demand.

The TWG on Housing Statistics is chaired by the NSCB and is composed of the HLURB, NHA, NEDA, Visayas State University, and the Local Housing Boards of the Province of Leyte, City of Tacloban, and the Municipality of Tanauan.
