NSCB Releases The Countryside in Figures: Northern Samar

In response to the demand for relevant and more disaggregated statistics at the local levels, the National Statistical Coordination Board Regional Division 8, releases the First Edition of The Countryside in Figures: Northern Samar.

This maiden edition provides provincial data and municipal disaggregation of statistics, whenever available, on various sectors, such as general information, governance, income and expenditures, labor and employment, agriculture, education, health, transportation and communication, energy, and public order and safety.

The publication also provides ranking of the twenty-four (24) municipalities which serves as reference in comparing their performance in the different areas of interest. The data can be used in planning, decision making, and policy setting towards effective governance and public service at the local level.

The Countryside in Figures: Northern Samar is already available in CD-ROM format.
