Technical Working Groups and Task Forces
Created by the RSCC

1. Technical Subcommittee on Survey Design (TSSD)

The TSSD is an inter-agency technical working group created through RSCC Resolution No. 2 series of 1992. It is a task-oriented body delegated to perform specific technical functions for the RSCC and to resolve specific technical issues along statistical development.

By nature of work, compared to other TWGs specifically task forces and adhoc bodies which are disbanded after accomplishing a specific designated task, the TSSD as a committee is a long-lived body. It is co-terminous with the RSCC.

2. Technical Working Group on Regional Economic Situationer (TWG on RES)

The TWG on RES was created through RSCC Resolution No. 02 series of 1994 to undertake the whole preparation process of the Quarterly Regional Economic Situationer in Region VI.

3. Task Force on Methodology in Generating Statistics for the Fishery Sector (TFMGSFS)

The TFMGSFS was created by RSCC through resolution No. 05 series of 1995 to study and formulate a methodology and guidelines in generating fishery statistics in the region from the lowest level of dissagregation which is the municipality to the provincial level to attain a complete and reliable regional fishery statistics in the region.

4. Technical Working Group on Quarterly Provincial Economic Situationer (TWG on QPES)

The TWG on QPES was created through RSCC Resolution No. 01 series of 1998. The availability of the QPES at the local level will provide the planning officers, local chief executives and even private investors with the timely and accurate information of the performance of the local economy, trends, and other critical issues which are vital in planning and decision making.
