NSIC Satellite: Negros Occidental

The NSIC Negros Occidental is lounged at the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), Administration Building, Bacolod City. It occupies a floor area of approximately 63 square meters. It reclines various publications and other information materials from both national and subnational agencies, and local government units.

THE LAUNCHING

       The Blessing
 

            Fr. Mitchelle Guadalupe, Parish Priest, St. Joseph, The Worker Parish, Bacolod City officiated the blessing of the new NSIC Negros Occidental. Present during the blessing together with the provincial government employees were Hon. Mae C. Javellana, Sangguniang Panlalawigan Member who lead the unveiling and reading of the NSIC Mission Statement, Dr. Romulo A. Virola, Secretary General, National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB), Dir. Lina V. Castro, Director, Social Statistics Office & Project Director, NSIC, also of NSCB, Dir. Norman Julag-ay of National Statistics Office, representatives from other national line agencies such as NEDA 6, NSCB 6, NSO 6, DOLE 6, DTI 6, and other government line agencies. Present also were representatives from LGUs all over the province.

           The program was held at the Governor’s Hall, Capitol Building, Bacolod City. It is just across the Administration Building where the NSIC is being lounged. During the program, Hon. Mae Javellana welcomed the guests and participants in behalf of the Local Government of Negros Occidental.
