The National Statistical Information Center
 

The National Statistical Information Center (NSIC) was first established on October 20, 1993 through a project jointly implemented with the Statistics Sweden and the Swedish International Development Agency (SIDA). The second phase of the Project is now on-going which involves the establishment of more NSICs in the regions, development of new and improved products and services and enhancement of the NSIC Systems.


From then on, the NSIC has been offering the following services and facilities:

 Technical Services
The National Statistical Information Center (NSIC) is a public service of the NSCB under a collaborative arrangement with the different data-producing agencies in the Philippines. 
It is recipient of the1994 Gawad Oscar M. Florendo Special Recognition Award as an Outstanding Government Information Project
