WHEREAS, the local government unit of Libon, Albay has developed and operationalized a locally-based data bank system responsive to the needs of planners, decision makers and stakeholders;

WHEREAS, the data bank is envisioned to provide Libon, Albay with a government that can promptly respond to the needs of the population through timely, relevant and accurate data for sound and prompt decision-making;

WHEREAS, the data bank has improved the operations of the local unit in the areas of business registration, real property revenue generation, account management and development planning;

WHEREAS, the Committee recognizes the effectiveness of the data bank system in generating crucial data that can be used for development planning, target setting and program/project monitoring and evaluation;

WHEREAS, the initiative done by LGU-Libon, Albay is worth emulating by the other LGUs;

NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it:

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the RSCC commends the local government unit of Libon, Albay for having developed and operationalized a data bank system that responds to the LGU’s needs in planning and decision-making;

RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished the local government unit of Libon, Albay for information.
