RSCC Region V Excerpts from the
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the
RESOLUTION NO. 03-98 DESIGNATING THE
1998-2001 PRIVATE SECTOR REPRESENTATIVES WHEREAS, pursuant to NSCB Resolution No. 01-92, dated January 9, 1992, the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee (RSCC) for Region V has been organized under the administrative supervision of the Regional Development Council; WHEREAS, Article II of the Resolution provides that the composition of the RSCC includes two representatives from the private sector identified and selected by the Committee members from the government sector; WHEREAS,
the private sector representatives must have demonstrated active
participation in statistical and developmental activities and may provide
guidance to the RSCC in the statistical requirements of the private
sector, being major users of generated statistics; |

WHEREAS, pursuant to RSCC Resolution No. 02-92 dated April 7, 1992, the term of the private sector representatives earlier designated by the RSCC have already expired; NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it: RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Divine Word College of Legazpi and Bicol Small Business Institute, be designated as private sector representatives to the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee; RESOLVED FURTHER, that the designated private sector representatives serve a three-year term starting on July 1, 1998, without prejudice to redesignation after said term; RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished the designees for their concurrence and acceptance. APPROVED, this 27th day of May 1998 at the National Economic and Development Authority, Arimbay, Legazpi City.
