RSCC Region V Excepts from the
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the
RESOLUTION NO. 03-94 APPROVING THE
REGIONAL POPULATION DEVELOPMENT WHEREAS, a population-focus development has been an enunciated policy in effecting regional economic growth; WHEREAS, the Population Development Model was adopted as a framework for monitoring and evaluating the impacts of development programs/projects/activities in the region; WHEREAS,
impact assessment of development programs/projects/activities needs a
statistical indicator system against which such impacts can be
periodically measured; |

WHEREAS, the Regional Population Development Core Indicator System prepared by the National Economic and Development Authority has been validated with various line agencies tasked with generating specific statistics relative to the said Indicator System; WHEREAS, the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee serves as the highest policy making body in the region on statistical matters; NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded be it RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee approve the Regional Population Development Core Indicator System; RESOLVED FURTHER, to recommend the implementation of the RPDCIS in the six provinces and three cities of the region. RESOLVED FINALLY, that this resolution be endorsed to the Regional Development Council for its appropriate action. APPROVED, this 31st day of May 1994 at the National Economic and Development Authority, Arimbay, Legazpi City.
