RSCC Region V Excepts from the
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the RESOLUTION NO. 03-2010
SUPPORTING THE CONDUCT OF THE WHEREAS, Batas Pambansa Blg. 72 provides for the taking of an integrated census every 10 years beginning in 1980, in accordance with the plans to be prepared by the National Statistics Office (NSO); WHEREAS, pursuant to this mandate, the NSO will conduct the 2010 Census of Population and Housing (CPH) in May 2010 with May 1 as the reference date;
WHEREAS, NSCB Resolution No. 12-2009
has declared May 2010 as the National Census Month; |

WHEREAS, NSCB Resolution No. 14-2009 enjoins agencies to provide assistance to the NSO for the conduct of the 2010 CPH; WHEREAS, the RSCC recognizes the need for up-to-date and comprehensive population count for the formulation of social and economic development policies plans and programs, for Internal Revenue Allotment (IRA) of local government units and for many other purposes; NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it: RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to support the conduct of the 2010 CPH; RESOLVED FURTHER, that: 1. assistance provided by the RSCC and/or its member agencies shall include, but not limited to, those identified in Annex BR-14-20090706-01 of NSCB Resolution No. 14-2009; 2. the RSCC enjoins all government agencies and the general public to support the conduct of the 2010 CPH. RESOLVED FINALLY, that copy of this resolution be furnished all agencies for their appropriate action. APPROVED, this 7th day of April 2010 in Legazpi City.
