RSCC Region V Excepts from the
Minutes of the Regular Meeting of the RESOLUTION NO. 02-2009 ADOPTING AS POLICY THE INVITATION OF NON-RSCC MEMBER AGENCIES WHOSE FUNCTIONS MAY CONCERN OR BENEFIT FROM DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS IN RSCC MEETINGS WHEREAS, NSCB Resolution No. 1, series of 1992 created the Regional Statistical Coordination Committee to provide direction and guidance to statistical development activities in the region and to analyze, evaluate and recommend improvements on statistics needed in responding to local concerns;
WHEREAS, the same NSCB Resolution
mandates the RSCC to institute measures that would strengthen statistical
capability in the region by resolving issues and problems peculiar to the
area within the context of national statistical policies thereby ensuring
the timely production of reliable statistics for development planning and
decision making at the local level; |

WHEREAS, the RSCC meets quarterly to discuss various statistical issues or present data for information and reference of all concerned; WHEREAS, the specific agenda items of RSCC meetings may involve concerns of other agencies, which may not be members of the RSCC and such agencies may benefit from the discussion of such agenda items; NOW THEREFORE, on motion duly seconded, be it: RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that the RSCC invites to its meetings other agencies, whose functions may concern, or may benefit from the discussion of specific agenda items; RESOLVED FINALLY, that copies of this resolution be furnished the RSCC members and other agencies to be invited in the meetings of the RSCC for their information and guidance; APPROVED, this 2nd day of April 2009 in Legazpi City.
