In generating the thematic maps, the following indicators were used for computing the indices.

POVERTY INDEX

SURVIVAL
Nutrition
 ▪ Newborn with birth weight of at least 2.5 kilograms
 ▪ Percentage of underweight children 0-5 years old
 ▪ Percentage of underweight school children 6-11 years old

Health
 ▪ Infant mortality rate (below 1 year old)
 ▪ Mortality rate of children under 5 years old
 ▪ Ratio of population to health workers

Water and Sanitation
 ▪ Percentage of households with access to safe water
 
ENABLING
Basic Education
 ▪ Participation rate in elementary schools
 ▪ Cohort survival rate in elementary schools

Family Care
 ▪ Percentage of domestic violence reported to the police

People's Participation
 ▪ Percentage of registered voters who actually voted
 
SECURITY
Peace and Order
 ▪ Crime rate against person
 ▪ Crime rate against property

Shelter
 ▪ Percentage of makeshift houses to total occupied dwelling units
