The Regional Statistical Coordination Committee (RSCC), Region V in its meeting held on September 5, 2006 at the National Economic and Development Authority, in Legazpi City passed Resolution No. 02-2006 designating the NSCB Regional Division V as repository of the MDG indicators in the region and enjoining data support from agencies and LGUs. [NSCB5] ■ RDC Resolution No. 05-85 Series of 2006 The Bicol Regional Development Council (RSCC) in its meeting held on September 26, 2006 at the National Economic and Development Authority, in Legazpi City passed a resolution enjoining regional government agencies and local government units to provide data support to the MDG indicators. [RDC5] ■ First Regional MDG Report The First Bicol Regional MDG Report is the process of finalization. The preparation of the report was commissioned by the Development Academy of the Philippines through the National Economic and Development Authority. The NSCB Regional Division V MDG Watch is presented in consonance with the report. [NSCB5] ■ MDG Forum The NSCB Regional Division V
conducted a Forum on the Millennium Development Goals on October 8, 2007 at
the NEDA Conference Hall. This is one of the activities during the
celebration of the 18th National Statistics Month in October. A total of 53
participants from regional line agencies, local government units and
non-government organizations attended the forum.
