Incidentally, the Women and Men Handbook of the NSCB attempts to present gender statistics in a user-friendly, interesting and easy to understand way. The handbook provides a tool for promoting awareness on women’s issues, presents facts towards the formulation of better gender and development policies and interventions, and serves to advocate the discussion and resolution of gender issues and concerns and promote the use of statistics.
