The RSCC XII commends the following agencies for posting 100% attendance in meetings during CY 2009:

• National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) XII;

• National Statistics Office (NSO) XII;

• Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) XII;

• Department of Education (DepEd) XII;

• Department of Tourism (DOT) XII;

• Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) XII;

• Department of Agriculture (DA) XII; and,

• Provincial Planning and Development Office - Sultan Kudarat (PPDO-SK).

The Committee met thrice last year - on April 2, August 27 and December 11. The Committee was able to carry out a good number of accomplishments during the year in terms of resolution of statistical issues and concerns, data appreciation/dissemination fora, conduct of an assessment of the operations of the various statistical coordination mechanisms in the region and in the enhancement of the investment statistics generation.

The Committee also had participation in the conduct of the 6th Mindanao Stat Congress held in Camiguin, and in the conduct of statistical briefings for the media practitioners in the region held in General Santos City. It also spearheaded the successful celebration of the 20th National Statistics Month (NSM) in the region.
