With the Philippines 2000 goals of global
competitiveness and people empowerment, the maximization of the use of information is a
key strategy. To sustain fast-paced development, the government and the private sectors
must coninuously analyze and systhesize vital statistical information. Thus, the NATIONAL
STATISTICAL INFORMATION CENTER - Central Mindanao (NSIC-CM) was launched on October 24,
1996 in the region to provide a one stop venue where users could access statistical data
generated by government agencies.
The NSIC-CM branch caters to the data needs of local executives, investors, businessmen,
researchers, students, government employees, planners and decision makers |
