Technical Working Groups and Task Forces

• TASK FORCE ON EDUCATION STATISTICS IN REGION XI was created with the following objectives:  
  • to assess the timeliness, accuracy, consistency and reliability of education statistics in the region,
  • to identify the processes involved in improving the generation of education statistics, and
  • to recommend measures for institutionalization of improved education statistics.

• TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP ON GENDER STATISTICS was created to coordinate activities that will produce a comprehensive set of gender sensitive information for planning and policy/decision-making purposes and addressing the gender concerns.

• TECHNICAL SUBCOMMITTEE ON SURVEY DESIGN was created to implement and monitor the Statistical Survey Review and Clearance System.

• SOUTHERN MINDANAO DEVELOPMENT STATISTICS TASK FORCE prepares the Davao  Region Statistical Yearbook.

• REGIONAL ECONOMIC SITUATIONER (RES) TASK FORCE prepares quarterly RES reports, compiles data and conducts the Rapid Appraisal of the Regional Economy (RARE) Survey.
