Call for Papers for the 10th
National Convention on Statistics

The Philippine Statistical System (PSS)
through the National Statistical Coordination Board (NSCB) is inviting
interested writers to present a paper on any of the topics covered in
the 10th National Convention on Statistics (NCS) which will be held
on October 1-2, 2007 at the EDSA Shangri-La Hotel, Mandaluyong City.
The two-day
event involves presentation of papers on theoretical and practical
applications of statistics as well as holding of a commercial exhibit.
Aside from the papers in the two plenary sessions, there will be invited
and contributed papers to be done in simultaneous sessions. Other
sessions include the sessions for Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, student
session, and the poster session. The convention can serve as a venue for
the paper writers to share and disseminate their research findings.
