RSCC XI held last quarter
meeting

The Regional Statistical
Coordination Committee (RSCC) XI held its last quarter meeting for this year
on November 28,
2006 at the Department of Public Works and Highways Conference Room,
Davao City. The following
were the agenda of the meeting: (1) Final Presentation of the Panabo
Poverty Maps; (2) Millennium Development Goals Watch; (3) 2007 Mindanao
Statistical Congress; (4) Agri Statistics at the City/Municipal level; (5)
Policy Agenda for 2007; (6) Davao Region Statistical Yearbook; (7) CIF:
Davao Oriental; and (8) City at the Web.
During this meeting, the RSCC XI
passed four Resolutions. These are the following: (1)
Approving the 2005 Panabo
City Poverty Maps; (2)
Commending the University of Southeastern Philippines - School of Applied
Economics, University of the Philippines in Mindanao, regional line agencies
and selected LGUs of Davao region for active participation in the Third
Mindanao Statistical Congress; (3)
Endorsing the BAS Barangay
Agricultural Profiling Survey, (BAPS), as a Tool to Generate Agricultural
Statistics at the City/Municipal level; and (4)
Approving the policy agenda
of RSCC XI for CY 2007.
