As we strive to fulfill our mandate, we have embarked on activities that would not only ensure the reliability, adequacy, relevance and comparability of government statistics but would also enhance its accessibility and timeliness for development planning, policy formulation and decision making.

We have established the National Statistical Information Centers (NSIC) in eight areas of the country to bring government statistics closer to users. These centers are now easily accessible through the wonders of technology.
