| StatNews Posted 7 January 1999 More Motor Vehicles Registered in November The number of motor vehicles registered in the region in November this year increased by 6.51% to 4,353 from 4,087 November last year. But this figure is much lower (by 70.84%) compared to the number of registered vehicles in October this year. Some 14,928 vehicles were registered last October. Of the 4,353 vehicles registered, 3,040 or 69.84% were renewals. Only 1,313 or 30.16% were new registrations. Majority of the registered vehicles were privately owned (69.31%) and gas fed (81.6%).
