APPROVING THE TABLE FORMATS FOR PANGASINAN’S STATISTICAL DATABASE

WHEREAS, the province of Pangasinan, one of the pilot Local Government Units (LGUs) in the implementation of the Executive Order (EO) 135 on the establishment of a well-coordinated local level statistical system, is building-up a provincial statistical database;

               WHEREAS, the establishment of provincial statistical database addresses the current demand for reliable and timely local level data for use in planning, decision-making, policy-formulation and research activities and the current thrust of the Philippine Statistical System (PSS) on decentralized generation and dissemination of statistics;

              WHEREAS, the statistical database of Pangasinan comprise the core set of indicators approved in RSCC Resolution 6, s. 2002;

              WHEREAS, the Province of Pangasinan prepared table formats for all indicators which shall serve as basis in the creation of their statistical database;

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the proposed table formats for Pangasinan’s statistical database as presented in Annex A hereto attached.
