RSCC I Resolution No. 6, s. 2003

APPROVING THE POLICY AGENDA OF RSCC REGION I FOR CY 2003

         WHEREAS, NSCB Resolution No. 1, s.  1992 created the Regional Statistical Coordination Committees (RSCCs) as  statistical coordination structures at the subnational level to ensure, among others, the harmonization of statistical development efforts at this level;

            WHEREAS,  one of the functions of the RSCC is to institute measures to strengthen the statistical capability in the regions by resolving problems and issues peculiar to the area within the context of national statistical policies and by setting priority on the statistical activities;

            WHEREAS,  there is a need to come up with a one-year policy agenda that will guide the RSCC in the discharge of this function to ensure that  emerging demands and latest problems and issues  in the region are properly addressed;

            NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, AS HEREBY RESOLVED, to approve the policy agenda of RSCC I for CY 2003 as hereto attached;

            RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the policy agenda shall be subjected to periodic evaluation as the RSCC moves on to the year.
