| Roman Catholic
is the predominant religion in Alaminos City with around 83.7
percent of the household population embracing said religion. Other
religious groups include Iglesia ni Cristo (3.1 percent), Jehovah's
Witness (1.7 percent) and Evangelicals (1.0 percent). Followers of
Aglipayan, United Methodist Church, Islam, Seventh Day Adventist and
Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints could also be found
in the city. |

percent) of the Aliminians traces their roots to Ilocano ethnicity
although there are also Kankanaey, Bisaya, Hiligaynon, Ilonggo,
Kapampangan and other descents who migrated to the city. Panggalatok
and Ilokano are the city's local dialect with Tagalog and English as
the second language. |
