Bagulin, one of the municipality of La Union, is known as home of quality soft brooms due to the abundance of tiger grass in the municipality.  Tiger grass is the raw material for soft brooms.  It is located at the interior eastern part of the province of La Union. It is bounded by the municipality of San Gabriel (La Union) in the north, San Juan (La Union) in the northwest, San Fernando City (La Union) in the west, Naguilian (La Union) in the southwest, Burgos (La Union) in the south, and Kapangan (Benguet) in the east. 

Bagulin is 31 km away from the regional center, San Fernando City and 14 km away from Naguilian.  It can be reached by taking the Naguilian-Bagulin Provincial Road, or, alternatively, by minor roads from San Fernando City, San Juan or Burgos.
