The Publication Contents & Uses

The Philippine Statistical Development Program (PSDP) publication presents comprehensive priority statistical programs of the different members of the Philippine Statistical System (PSS) towards strengthening and improving the data requirements of the Medium-Term Philippine Development Plan (MTPDP).  This publication also serves as a blue-print for the direction-setting and outlining the strategies of the PSS in providing high quality statistical information for policy analysis and decision-making to meet the changing needs of the stakeholders, data users, society and the international community.

Each chapter in the publication includes 2 attachments. Attachment A contains detailed statistical framework (key indicators generated or to be generated, manner of data dissemination, frequency and data source/agency) while Attachment B have matrix of statistical development programs of the sector (brief description and information on the expected outputs of identified programs/projects/activities, its policy use/relevance, target date of implementation and lead/implementing agencies). It also includes information on Indicative Budgets for Statistical Programs (Annex A), Consolidated List of Statistical Capacity Building Programs in the PSS (Annex B) and Consolidated List of Statistical Researches/Studies and Related Activities in the PSS (Annex C).
