Training on Statistics

To upgrade skills on statistical techniques, short courses on statistics (regular and tailor-made) are offered by the Statistical Research and Training Center, UP School of Statistics and UP Institute of Statistics.

Survey Design Advisory Services

For government agencies that plan to conduct or fund a statistical survey, the NSCB offers the Survey Review and Clearance System where the agency can submit the proposed design and instrument of the survey for evaluation and approval.

The public can benefit from the knowledge and experience of the technical staff and practitioners of other statistical   agencies from their years of experience in survey operations.

The PSS boasts of the expertise of the pool of professional statisticians who have been tapped through the years in several developmental activities of other countries. For example, the NSO and NSCB have recently rendered technical and advisory services in the conduct of Census of Population and the estimation of the National Accounts for Vietnam, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Myanmar.
