Administrative-based statistics 1.1 Dissemination and collation of Hazard Prone Areas To provide information on the vulnerability of various areas in the Philippines to different types of hazards List of hazard and disaster-prone areas in the Philippines RDCC, PDCC, local DCCs, PAGASA, DILG and DENR 1.2 Monitoring of Regional Activities through the Daily Summary Operations Report (DSOR forms) To be able to monitor the daily activities of the regions Compilation of organized and reorganized DCCs, daily regional activities, status of communication equipment, transportation and personnel disaster operations undertaken - daily monitoring RDCC, PDCC, local DCCs in 16 regions 1.3 Collation and encoding of data concerning 5 building blocks such as search and rescue, fire suppression, emergency medical services, damage and needs assessment and relief (EMIS-GIS program) To provide ready information concerning resources of various disaster responders in terms of manpower, equipment and logistics Available listing of various teams involved in SAR, FS, EMS, DANA and Relief ( As of May 2003) by area of specialization, capability and availability of equipment BFP, DOH, DSWD, DILG, AFP, DA, DPWH Data are obtained through networking with various agencies concerned 1.4 Monitoring and documentation of disaster reports/warning information/ statistics through DSOR form/fax messages and radio messages To be able to monitor and document every occurrences of major and minor disaster events and its effects Summaries of major and minor disaster events in textual and tabular presentation RDCCs, PDCCs, and local DCCs concerned Continuing activity B. Data Dissemination 1. Dissemination of disaster reports/warning information/statistics through DSOR form/fax messages and radio messages To be able to obtain and relay real time information simultaneously throughout the country Real time reports Continuing activity To provide easy access of disaster information to the public and any requesting parties Summaries of major and minor disasters Data of past disasters is available 2.
