Other Statistical Frameworks and Indicator Systems 
Economic and Social Indicator (ESI) System
The ESI system contains more than a hundred indicators grouped into four development goals/areas of concern.
These are human development and human resources; macro-economy and development financing; sustainable agri-industrial development; and, infrastructure development.
The indicator system is used to monitor the achievement of economic and social development goals set forth in the Medium-Term and Long-Term Development Plans of the Philippines. The latest publication of the ESI is for 1993-1995.
