The NSCB regularly monitors the Philippine economy at the macro level through the Philippine System of National Accounts (PSNA).
Quarterly, semestral and annual estimates of the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and Gross National Product (GNP) are prepared to assess the country's economic performance.
Seasonally Adjusted GNP and GDP are likewise released to the public. Furthermore, estimates by industrial origin are provided to determine their contributions to the total production of the country. Estimates of GDP by expenditure items are likewise provided.
The latest estimates of the country's GNP, GDP and sectoral value added are for the first quarter of 1999 (for the quarterly estimates) and 1998 (for the annual estimates). The series for annual estimates starts from 1946 while that for the quarterly estimates starts from 1981.
To better guide users of the accounts, the NSCB has adopted a calendasr of release for the PSNA which is announced through the NSCB web site at the start of the year.

The economic performance of the various administrative regions of the country is measured through the Regional Accounts.
These include the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and the Gross Regional Domestic Expenditure (GRDE) which are compiled on an annual basis.

The I-O table shows inter-industrial linkages of the various industries in the Philippine economy.
It also provides a detailed analysis of the process of production and the use of goods and services (products) and the income generated from the production process. The latest available benchmark I-O tables are for 1988 and updates are for 1990 and 1994
