Objectives of the Workshop

The Workshop served as a vehicle to review, compare and discuss the work being done toward the development of environmental accounting among the ASEAN member countries, as well as other Asia Pacific countries..

Specifically, the workshop trained the participants on the SEEA implementation; provided a forum for sharing experiences among countries in the Asia-Pacific region on environmental accounting compilation; discussed the first draft of the SEEA 2000; and assessed the stage of implementation of environmental accounting in the countries.
