Best Online Statistical Information Dissemination System Contest

BACKGROUND:

The 19th National Statistics Month (NSM) Steering Committee, thru the initiative of the NSM Sub-Committee on Programs and Awards, has approved the launching of a new contest, the Best Online Statistical Information Dissemination Contest.  It is designed to promote and enhance good practices in statistical information dissemination.  Moreover, the activity is in line with one of the objectives of the NSM, i.e., “to elicit the cooperation and support of the general public in upgrading the quality and standards of statistics in the country”, specifically, on the area of disseminating statistics to the public.
