About the Convention

The objectives of the Convention are two-fold, namely:

  1. to provide a forum for practitioners and theoreticians in the field of statistics to discuss prevailing issues and emerging developments affecting the PSS; and

  2. to elicit the cooperation and support of statisticians and professionals in related fields from the government, academe and private sector towards a more responsive statistical system.

The Convention  promises  to be  special  as it  coincides  with the  opening of  the 21st  National  Statistics  Month. The highlights of  the  Convention  include  the  presentation of  papers and holding of commercial exhibits.
