NSCB - 2002 Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) - Per Capita Gross Regional Domestic Product

In terms of per capita GRDP, eleven (11) regions fared well in 2002 as they posted either accelerated growths or reversed the contractions experienced in 2001. Coming from reductions in per capita GRDP in 2001, the following regions performed favorably in 2002: Central Mindanao (from –0.8% to 3.0%), Western Mindanao (from –2.7% to 3.0%), Southern Tagalog (from –0.7% to 2.8%), and CAR (from –1.7 percent to 2.1 percent).

Accelerated growths were observed for the following regions: Ilocos (from 0.4% to 4.2%), Bicol (from 2.9% to 3.7%), Western Visayas (from 2.1% to 3.5%), Eastern Visayas (from 0.3% to 2.7%), Central Visayas (from 2.1% to 2.3%), NCR (from 0.9% to 2.2%), and ARMM (from 0.1% to 2.0%).
