The NSCB issues the following errata on the Press Release entitled “Poverty worsens between 2003 and 2006” posted on 5 March 2008:

1. On Table 1 in column 1, Poverty Threshold (PhP) should read as Annual Per Capita Poverty Threshold

2. On Table 2, columns 3 to 5 should be:

3. On Table 3, the title should be Poverty incidences among families of the ten poorest provinces in 2006.

4. On Table 4, the title should be Poverty incidences among families of the ten poorest provinces in 2003.  Also, Biliran should be ranked 49th in 2006.

5. On the discussion for Table 5, the second sentence, “New entrant in 2006 is Quirino with an estimated poverty incidence of 11.1 percent” should read as “New entrant in 2006 is Quirino with an estimated poverty incidence of 15.9 percent.

6. On Table 5, the title should be Poverty incidences among families of the ten least poor provinces in 2006
